📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
What To Expect
Tesla is seeking a Real Estate Development Coordinator with well-rounded expertise to play a key role in the company's continued growth. You will be responsible for supporting acquisition development for Sales, Service, Delivery, Collision, and Warehousing projects across the United States. You will also collaborate cross functionally with internal teams including Legal, Finance, Design, and Construction and external partners including sellers, brokers, and land use attorneys.
What You'll Do
Manage pre-acquisition activities related to project due diligence, entitlements, feasibility budgets, schedules, and plan review Order and review of Title/Survey and CC&R’s. Determine availability of all utilities and associated fees Coordinate land planning, rezoning cases, and civil plan approvals with various municipalities, agencies, and utility authorities Review Purchase Agreements for necessary entitlement deal points and monitor compliance with terms Order third-party reports, review documents related to zoning, plats, development and utility agreements, title reports, fees, HOA, etc. Assist with retaining and coordinating the various consultants involved (i.e., land planners, civil engineers, landscape architects, surveyors, zoning attorneys) Prepare budgets and schedules for due diligence and entitlement activities
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant area of study (Business, Real Estate, Economics, Finance), or equivalent Minimum 5 years of real estate entitlement experience Understanding of real estate principles, concepts and of legal terms specific to Real Estate Experience with municipal planning and zoning procedures required Ability to pivot based on shifting priorities Sensitive to confidential or proprietary information Paralegal experience *preferred
