Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled CMA
Sign-On for Eligible New Hires**
Work location: 8440 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231
Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Travel: 25% to travel to Rockwall location 1-2 times/week as needed. (mileage reimbursement provided)

Here’s What You Need
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (required)BCLS (strongly preferred)New Grads Welcome with Completed Onsite Externship1 year Medical Assistant experience (preferred)Ability to perform EKGsBasic computer skills using medical management application systemsEffectively communicate with staff and patientsThorough knowledge of the meaning and use of medical terminology and abbreviationsDemonstrates sound judgement in emergency situationsTakes appropriate action in urgent circumstancesMaintains a positive, customer-focused attitude toward staff and patientsPossess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant ProcessPerforms general patient care by following established standards and procedures.Obtains and records vital signs including, but not limited to: blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications and presenting problem.Documents patient plan(s) of care, tests and examination results in the medical record as directed by the provider.Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician.Escalates non-routine issues, questions and/or concerns to the practice manager or healthcare provider(s).Ensures safety checklists/quality controls are completed as required.Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights.
