High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (REQUIRED)One year of MA experience (PREFERRED)ACLS or BLS upon hire (PREFERRED)
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant ProcessConducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of positionCommunicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physicianProvides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rightsAbility to multitaskMay work in the front office as neededMay perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
