Work hours: Full Time, 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Here’s What You Need
Education
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent with 4 Years Equivalent experience in lieu of degree is required OrBachelor's Degree Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, and closely related fields with 2 Years expreince is required
Experience
5 Years relevant work experience to include at least 2 years experience in Healthcare, Corporate Security, or a similar work setting with a Bachelor's degree is required or9 Years relevant work experience to include at least 2 years experience in Healthcare, Corporate Security, or a similar work setting with no degree is required
Licenses and Certifications
DL - Drivers License Upon Hire is required AndOther ASIS Certification of PSP Upon Hire is preferred AndOther Advanced training or certification in engineering, technology, information systems, and security Upon Hire is preferred
What You Will Do
Implements security systems and technologies for all Texas Health locations within the Region, including their connection to central monitoring and/or Security Operations Center sites, including, but not limited to, access control, video monitoring, visitor management, security hardware, intercoms, reporting software, two-way radio systems, security software, and security applications. Tracks, manages and delivers on all projects, from conception through design, development, and project completion phases. Partners and collaborates with design and construction teams, internal business partners, and external vendors to ensure site-level execution (planning, designing, and developing) as it relates to new construction, expansions, remodels, and refreshes, ensuring security systems standards are maintained.Provides oversight of systems projects, vendors, and personnel. Proactively researches solutions for systems, upgrades, repairs, and change-outs. Researches, analyzes, and tests systems to continually optimize operations. Contributes to corporate enterprise development of the Facility Security Design program, including CPTED practices, developing protection of assets program, risk assessment program and security systems standards.Partners with leaders in developing annual goals and strategic plans and prioritizes them based on organizational needs and objectives to maintain safe and secure environments. Contributes to, and complies with, the Police and Security organizations budget for team members, capital, and operating expenses, including a robust maintenance and repair program.Follows the strategy for procurement of all security technology assets. Ensures compliance with systems standards. Contributes to the development of physical security standards as these relate to security systems devices, practices, policies, and procedures.Maintains a suite of integrators and manages vendor performance at a regional level. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures, performance requirements, metrics, and optimization strategies.
