Nursing Diploma required orAssociate degree Nursing required Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred1 year experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly requiredCPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training upon hire requiredACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually six months requiredCPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 30 Days requiredACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 12 months required
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
Assesses the patientPlans the care of the patientIntervenes as appropriateEvaluates the effectiveness of interventionsIncorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for informationMaintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
