Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231

Work hours: Full Time Nights (7P-7A) for 36 hrs/week. Weekend and holiday requirements

Here’s What You Need

Diploma Nurse or Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required. BSN preferred One year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program. One year of emergency department experience in a hospital setting as a staff RN strongly preferred. RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator, and coordinator for quality patient care.

What You Will Do

Basic Human Needs - Responds to others' priorities regarding safety, physical, physical, psychological and social needs. Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Demonstrates knowledge of patient rights and incorporating into daily practice Mutual Problem Solving - Professional behaviors that help patients and families understand how to confront, learn about, and think about their health and illness. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers
