Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required AND CWCN – Certified Wound Care Nurse 12 months required OR CWON – Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse 12 months required OR CWOCN – Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse 12 months required AND BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required AND CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days required
What You Will Do
Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to improve care processes that promote continuity of care. Recommends standards for cost-effective supplies/equipment related to wound, ostomy and incontinence care to be utilized in the hospital through evaluation and product research studies. Provides appropriate written information to both patients and staff, including post operative and discharge instructions, referrals and supply needs. Serves as patient advocate and as a liaison between patient family and physician. Strives to meet Departmental Key Performance Indicators/System Key Focus Areas. Actively participates in formal and informal teaching and evaluation to strengthen clinical competence of self and team members. Participates in data collection for national quality data base.

The ground floor houses a breast imaging center, outpatient physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation and an internal medicine residency program.
