Floating Leasing AgentReports ToDirector of Residential LeasingJob OverviewThe Floating Leasing Agent will provide coverage to Leasing Offices within the TFC portfolio when other Leasing Agents are on vacation or to assist other Leasing Agents during peak rental times. The Floating Leasing Agent will supervise the day-to-day workflow of the Leasing Office which includes the direct supervision of the Leasing Assistants that report to them. The Floating Leasing Agent’s will focus mainly on providing exceptional customer service to incoming clients, renting apartments and staff training. The Floating Leasing Agent must demonstrate good judgment, ability to work proactively, autonomously, achieve results without close supervision and work effectively as part of a team.Responsibilities and Duties· Lease and pre-lease apartments· Compile and organize application packages for submission to the main office· Prepare and Review leases to be sent out to prospective residents· Walk tour paths on a regular basis to ensure proper presentation of the building· Supervise, mentor and train Leasing Assistants· Expertly complete comp reports for submission to the Director of Market Research· Work closely with the Resident Manager on coordinating move-ins and providing punch lists on unit turns· Conduct move-in inspections· Provide feedback on the condition of units to assess the need for possible renovations· Additional tasks as assigned· Weekend/Holiday hours are requiredQualifications· 2+ years of experience as a Residential Leasing Agent· Real Estate Salespersons License required· Expert knowledge of Rent stabilization· Must possess knowledgeable sales techniques· Must be able to multi-task and have strong attention to detail· Must be able to thrive in a fast paced, high volume, high stress environment· Must be able to read and understand credit reports· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills· Must be able to work as part of a team· Must be proficient in Word and Excel
