Systems Integration Manager III

(M/F/D)*

The Systems Integration Manager in large will ensure projects are delivered achieving the committed functionality, performance and availability of the solution. This client-facing role works to strengthen customer satisfaction and TGW’s position as a Material Handing Equipment Integrator. You will be involved in a project from the back end of the pre-sales process throughout the realization process until final acceptance of the solution to the client. You will design and drive to completion all aspects of a solution related to functionality or performance. This includes providing feedback to the TGW Solutions Design team based on gaps between design assumptions and reality and defining success for the Mechanical, Controls, SW suppliers (internal/external), then checking, and ensuring that those suppliers have delivered.

What You’ll Be Handling

Pre-Sales (start SG3 detail design phase):

Consult, challenge, and validate the solution can be delivered as proposed.Audit Risk and Opportunity Register.

Detail Engineering

Guide and synchronize engineering across the core teams, integrating the design assumptions, contractual commitments, layout, system and operations requirements, simulation strategies, software and controls, mechanical equipment, and third party products to align solution intent through to final acceptance.Define tests scenarios and audit test plan and results to prove system is ready for hand-over.Define system data and KPIs to track in order to measure system behavior.

Commissioning and Ramp-Up

Ensure readiness and manage expectations for customer takeover; contribute to issue management and resolution.

What You’ll Need

Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Minimum 7 years of material handling systems experienceAdvanced ability to collect, maintain, analyze and present data and recommendationsExperience with: AutoCAD; Python; AutoMod; Siemens Plant SimulationAbility to evaluate customer business processes with in-depth knowledge of automated distribution centers from the mechatronic elements up to the high level softwareExcellent communication and presentation skills. Calm and confident to steer customers around complex and technical ideas.Willingness to travel domestically (less than 20%) and internationally (occasionally)
