Process Technician/Supervisor

MATERIALS COORDINATOR JOB SUMMARY:TH Plastics, Inc., is a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the following position in our Tiffin, Ohio molding division JOB OVERVIEW:This position is responsible for setting up and maintaining the injection molding process alongwith supervising hourly operators. It is the responsibility of the supervisor to ensure that equipment and operators are operating in a safe, efficient, and productive manner. The position is on 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 3:00pm to 11:20pm. Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Excellent communication skills both written and oral Critical thinking and problem-solving with injection molding 2+ years of experience in injection molding as a process tech or similar position preferred Forklift and Overhead crane experience preferredPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:(The following list does not include all duties and responsibilities) Adhere to Safety and PPE policies and procedures including Lockout/Tagout Assists the Shift Superintendent in all phases of production Assist with startups and troubleshooting of machines Perform staging, pulling, setting and finalizing all scheduled mold changes as assigned. Optimize molding and robot conditions Completes shift reports, mold setting check list, and post production schedules Communicate all safety, machine, or quality issues with shift superintendent by using the chain ofcommand Load programs per training and work instructions and record any issues. Be able to identify, read and use appropriate mold set tools and correct nozzle tip safeties. Fill out work orders and deliver them to the appropriate area. Regular on-site attendance is required All other duties as assigned.
