Description:Join our dynamic team at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology's Workforce and Economic Development Center as a Workforce Training Instructor, and make a difference in the lives of individuals seeking to advance their careers. We are seeking passionate and experienced professionals to teach a variety of subjects including safety, plumbing, HVAC, electrical mechanical, automotive, information technology, machining, robotics, and more. We are also seeking instructors to teach industry recognized credentials in a variety of industries.
Responsibilities:Deliver comprehensive training programs in accordance with industry standards.Engage and motivate students to achieve their learning goals.Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.Collaborate with team members to continuously improve curriculum and instructional methods.Maintain accurate records of student attendance and competenciesManage inventory levels of supplies and equipment
Qualifications:Industry relevant experience in one the following fields: safety, plumbing, HVAC, electrical mechanical, automotive, information technology, machining, robotics, carpentry, etc. If you don't see your specialty here, we want to know about it!Appropriate clearances required by regulatory bodies.Proficiency in using technology, including Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to help others learn and succeed.Clean safety record with a commitment to upholding safety standards at all times.A college degree is NOT required
