📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Adecco Permanent Placement has partnered to find a General Manager to oversee 2 sites in the metals distribution industry - to drive business development and provide oversight to plant operations.This position will report to the Division President and will:Optimize operations: including quality, production, and asset protection and optimization, with responsibility for P&L and salesDrive growth by identifying new business opportunities as well as expanding existing accountsEnsure continued improvement in safety, team member relations, customer satisfaction, quality, complete and on-time delivery, lean manufacturing, limited equipment downtime, and cost reductionsMonitor and maintain supply chain to meet production demands and ensure on time customer deliveryParticipate in mergers and acquisitions process as strategic growth strategyImplement lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement methodologies
Candidates should possess:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field10+ years manufacturing experienceStrong P&L management experience; Mergers and Acquisitions experience preferredStrong Structural Steel industry knowledgeExtensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
This position offers:$150-200K annual salary with 25% -35% bonus eligibilityFull benefits package: Medical -Vision-Dental-Life-Disability-HSA-FSA401(k) Match: 50% on the first 6% of contributionsTuition Reimbursement
