📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Autism Academy of Learning is accepting applications for paraprofessionals serving students between the ages of 5 and 22. Previous personal and/or professional experience with special needs, specifically autism, is a plus but not a necessity, we can train if you are interested in working with individuals with Autism. Seven to eight weeks paid vacation per year in addition to sick and personal time!
ResponsibilitiesParaprofessionals assist the intervention specialist with daily academic training and skill acquisition. Paraprofessionals also assist the student with daily living and activities of personal care.
QualificationsHigh school graduate or GED required. Must have either 48 semester or 60 quarter hours of earned college credit, or have passed or will be able to pass the ParaPro Assessment examination. Must possess a satisfactory BCI/FBI.
