Baer is looking for AWS Cloud Support Consultant for a 6-month Federal Remote Project.
Title: AWS Cloud Support Consultant
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 6 month
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C (Vendors Not Permitted)
Description
Lead and manage a team responsible for all database tasks within the client cloud environment, ensuring optimal performance, data management, and deployment processes in the AWS cloud environment. Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and monitoring of AWS resources, ensuring the smooth operation of the Rural cloud environment and providing timely support for environment configuration as needed. Drive the design and implementation of database architecture decisions for client, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of database strategies with overall project goals and requirements. Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in AWS cloud services and database management, and incorporate relevant advancements into the client cloud environment.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps and Amazon Web Services (AWS), with a strong understanding of AWS services, including EC2, RDS, S3, and IAM. Proven track record of at least 3 years in application support, monitoring, and configuration, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues efficiently. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members towards achieving project objectives. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions within defined timelines and constraints.
Public Trust Security Clearance is the lowest level of additional background screening that the federal government requires for applicants of certain jobs, which includes completing a Standard Form 85 (SF85) form.
