Baer is looking for Junior Backend Tester for a 5-month Federal Remote Project.
Title: Junior Backend Tester
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 5 month
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C (Vendors Not Permitted)
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the development team to understand the requirements and functionalities of the LTM application. Conduct functional testing on the backend components of the LTM application. Perform unit testing to validate individual units of code. Execute integration testing to ensure that different components work together seamlessly. Conduct regression testing to verify that recent code changes have not adversely affected existing features. Perform performance testing to assess the responsiveness and stability of the application under different load conditions. Document test cases, test results, and any defects found during testing. Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
Requirements
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to understand the cloud infrastructure where the application is deployed. Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) to interact with databases and perform data validation. Familiarity with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to test backend functionalities and integrations. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Public Trust Security Clearance is the lowest level of additional background screening that the federal government requires for applicants of certain jobs, which includes completing a Standard Form 85 (SF85) form.
