📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Baer is looking for SAP BW HANA Modeler for a 9+ month remote project.
Title: SAP BW HANA Modeler
Location: Remote
Duration: 9 months
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 Only (C2C Not Permitted)
Responsibilities
Work on SAP BW implementation projects, understanding project requirements and contributing to the design and development of BW solutions. Develop HANA information models and decision tables to meet business needs. Create and optimize HANA views, including calculation, analytical, and attribute views. Utilize multi-dimensional design concepts to design efficient data models. Design and develop HANA models using SQL Script Stored Procedures. Implement data provisioning using SLT and Data Services BODS. Ensure seamless consumption of HANA models by reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Lumira, Analysis for Office, etc. Provide expertise in SAP Production Planning for Process Industries (PP PI), including process order lifecycle management, quantity calculations, and process management integration with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Implement integration between SAP PP PI and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) logistics. Manage staging processes and create staging requests from order release. Handle batch management and classification within SAP PP PI. Integrate shop floor information from process orders with external scheduling teams. Integrate Quality Management (QM) processes for trigger points. Appreciation of BTP/Fiori app design skills (not a hard requirement).
Requirements
Good understanding of SAP BW implementation projects. Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills. Hands-on experience in HANA modeling, including the creation of information models, decision tables, and various types of HANA views. Knowledge of multi-dimensional design concepts. Proficiency in SQL Script and stored procedures for HANA modeling. Experience with data provisioning using SLT and Data Services BODS. Familiarity with SAP PP PI, including process order management, quantity calculations, and integration with MES and EWM logistics. Ability to integrate shop floor information with external scheduling systems. Understanding of QM processes and integration points.
