The Buckeye Ranch is seeking a Registered Dietician to join our Residential Nursing and Food Services program. The Registered Dietician Completes nutritional assessments and provides recommendations for interventions with youth based upon that assessment. This can include making special dietary orders (allergy, faith-based, medically-based) meal-add ons, and serving recommendations. Will also have input into the writing of the weekly menu to ensure balanced and healthy meal choices. Will collaborate closely with the medical, psychiatric, milieu and nutrition-services teams.

Schedule: Part-time, Non-Exempt (24hrs per week, Day Shift, Flexible Schedule)

Location: Grove City, OH (100% In person)

What you’ll do:

Evaluate a resident’s current nutritional status and implement a nutritional plan if youth is at risk for deficiencies.Direct, consult, and coordinate nutritional services with programs and facility.Effectively educate staff regarding treatment plans and nutritional needs pertaining to clients.Meet with youth families and treatment team members in accordance with treatment plans, clinical necessity, or established standards.Reviews existing lab work and recommends additional lab work if needed.Assists the Food Services Supervisor in menu preparation and review.Provide medication review and monitoring, including instruction for youth and family as requested and standing order medications per policy.

Who you are

You have a bachelor’s degree.You preferably have previous mental, or behavioral, health experience.You have an active Registered Dietician certification.You have the proven computer skills necessary to complete the required job tasks.You have an active driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
