General Analyst - BYU-Pathway Worldwide (Part-Time, Student Employee)

Job Description

Do you want to help our team use data to provide meaningful value at BYU-Pathway? We are looking for a student employee to help streamline some of our data reporting processes to better inform others of student enrollment. This position will help with the day-to-day tasks of collecting, analyzing, and reporting relevant data. There will also be some routine administrative tasks such as creating agendas, taking minutes, and following up with assignments. There will also be some work creating, distributing, and analyzing surveys.

Ideally student employee positions will work 20-25 hours per week. Applicants must be members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and temple worthy, Must be living in either Idaho or Utah, and legally allowed to work in the US

Responsibilities

Create and maintain Excel models to track dataFind ways to improve/simplify/clean reports and presentations in Excel, Word, and PowerPointAccomplish quick tasks in Excel by taking data from Power BI to answer questionsCreate high-quality and professional-looking visualizations to present data in effective waysMeet regularly with stakeholders and team members in person and online to get feedback, share progress, and deliver resultsDevelop, distribute, and analyze surveys in QualtricsYou may need to learn new software if needed

Qualifications

Knowing the basics of Excel Familiar with MS Word and PowerPointAble to design professional and appealing visualizations Preferred, but not required, knowledge of creating Power BI reports Preferred, but not required, knowledge of Qualtrics survey software
