Job Description
The Church History Department of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announces an opening for a Research Assistant. The successful candidate will assist the Publications Division of the Church History Department with historical and textual research. This is an exciting and unique opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in history. We are looking for a motivated, energetic, and skilled individual to join our team.
This is a full-time position starting in July 2024.
Responsibilities
Duties will include work related to document transcription and analysis, technical historical writing, and archival research in primary and secondary sources for Latter-day Saint history. Tasks will also include general assistance to historians working on publication projects.
The Research Assistant will work under the direction of the Publications Division’s historians.
