Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Line Cook at The Crosby in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. The Lead Line Cook will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including preparing and cooking meals, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring food quality and safety. The Lead Line Cook will also collaborate with the culinary team to develop and execute menu plans, maintain inventory and kitchen supplies, and ensure a smooth and efficient workflow in the kitchen.
Qualifications Experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant or country clubProficiency in food preparation techniques, including knife skills and cooking methodsKnowledge of food safety and sanitation regulationsAbility to lead and manage a team of kitchen staffStrong organizational and communication skillsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysCulinary degree or certification is a plus
