Job Costing Analyst
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are working with our family-owned construction client that is continuing to experience high growth and searching for a Job Cost Analyst. Will work closely with the Contyroller and all departments – project management, estimating, payroll, A/R & A/P for financial-related tasks, cost analysis and reporting. The Job Cost Analyst must be willing to take on the challenges of working in a fast paced, constantly changing environment of a solid, fast-paced business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Gather and organize data from various departments, frequent use of Excel and ViewPoint. Prepare and present analysis to accounting team. Input critical data in a timely manner with a strong attention to detail. Assists CFO, Controller and Cost Accounting Manager in projects and reporting. Strong analytical skills and an attention to detail required. High degree of initiative and flexibility required to successfully accommodate deadlines. Enter Budget to Actual tracking on receivables and expenses. Drive team members to provide timely information, updated project specifics and/or any changes. Be the liaison between departments to communicate and track project costs and budgets.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting and/or equivalent experience. Construction experience preferred2+ years' relevant experienceBilling experience a plus
