The impact you will have in this role

Being a member of the Voluntary Reorganization Team, the Corporate Actions Associate will perform functions associated with the announcement and processing of corporate action events, and handle exception processing as appropriate within guidelines defined by the management team. Voluntary Reorganization includes cash and stock events where an investor has a decision to make. These events include tenders, mergers with election, election of rights and warrants, exercise of convertible securities and processing securities with put features. In addition, the Corporate Actions Associate will interact with clients and partners to assess and resolve problems, display attention to detail, and possess the ability to multi-task while providing excellent internal and external client service.

Your Primary Responsibilities

Complete operational processes by following documented procedures and job aides and making suggestions on improving process and efficiency. Process specialized workflows, resolve exceptions, and assist with complex inquiriesEnsure results are met while adhering to critical timeframes; assists in benchmark tracking, audit follow-up, compliance, and risk management activitiesUnderstand department controls; align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate riskMaintain a focus on meeting the needs/requests of our clients, including responding to inquiries timely and accurately, resolving issues promptlyDemonstrate active engagement in meetings and display curiosity to learn and grow; accept feedback given and apply it to the role. Present information clearly while speaking in small to mid-sized groupsFacilitate training sessions for junior team members as directed by management. Lead the development of training plans to meet staff development targetsParticipate and own small projects and initiatives

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of related experienceBachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
