Responsibilities:As the Contract Event Manager at The Doux, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our brand's journey. You'll be at the forefront of some exciting initiatives, such as

• Event Mastermind: You'll be the architect behind a wide range of events, from dope product launches to captivating cultural and promotional events, ensuring each one leaves a lasting impression.• Creative Visionary: Conceptualizing event themes, designs, and experiences is your secret sauce. You'll breathe life into our events, crafting immersive experiences that resonate with The Doux brand identity and our target audience.• Vendor Expert: Managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts will be second nature to you. You'll ensure that every aspect of our events reflects our commitment to excellence.• Partnership Pro: Coordinating sponsorships and partnerships with relevant brands and organizations will be key to enhancing the visibility and reach of our events, amplifying their impact and resonance.• Safety Specialist: Navigating the world of permits, regulations, and safety standards is crucial. You'll ensure that every event location meets all necessary requirements, providing a safe and compliant environment for our attendees.• Promotions Lead: Developing comprehensive event promotion strategies is where your expertise shines. You'll coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute social media strategies, email marketing, and traditional advertising to drive attendance and engagement, maximizing our event's impact.• Budget Guru: Effectively managing event budgets and tracking expenses will be your domain. You'll keep a tight rein on finances, providing regular financial reports to stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.• Entertainment Expert: Coordinating entertainment bookings will be essential to elevating the overall event experience. You'll curate unforgettable moments that leave a lasting impression.• Media Maven: Overseeing photoshoots and media coverage during events will be part of your repertoire. Collaborating with photographers, videographers, and press outlets, you'll capture the essence of our events and amplify their reach.• Effectiveness Evaluator: Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of each event is key to our continuous improvement. Gathering feedback from attendees and stakeholders, you'll extract valuable insights to inform future planning and enhancements.• Optimization Orchestrator: Preparing post-event reports detailing key metrics, successes, challenges, and recommendations for optimization will be your final act. Armed with these insights, we'll continually refine and elevate our event experiences to new heights.

Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you should have:· Proven experience of 5 years in event planning and management, preferably within the beauty, fashion, music, beverage, or consumer packaged goods industry.· Experience leading event management for medium to large brands.· A self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment .· An amazing eye for detail and aesthetics, coupled with a creative mindset and innovative spirit.· Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver exceptional results under tight deadlines.· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and vendors.· Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.· Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required for event execution.· A love for traveling.· Passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to staying on top of emerging trends and market developments.· Network Expertise: Extensive relationships in fabrication, event design, staffing, promotion, and at least one of the following industries: beauty, fashion, music, or beverage, particularly in major markets such as Atlanta, Los Angeles, and New York.· Must live in ATL.· Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. · Knowledge and experience in using digital and social media platforms.· A passion for creating best-in-class experiences.· An out-of-the-box thinker who is bold in action and driven to achieve results.
