Role DescriptionA project manager within Dropupy plays a crucial role, particularly when they are client-facing and involved in managing accounts and client relations. We have broken down the key responsibilities we are looking for in this role:
- Project Planning and Execution- Scope Management: Defining and managing the scope of projects to ensure that all aspects of the project are aligned with business goals.- Timeline Management: Creating detailed project timelines and ensuring that all project milestones are met on time.- Resource Allocation: Determining and allocating the necessary resources (human, technological) to efficiently execute the project.
- Client Management and Communication- Client Communication: Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication. This involves understanding client needs, and expectations, and keeping them informed about project progress and changes.- Client Relationships: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, which includes handling issues diplomatically and ensuring client satisfaction. This role often involves regular meetings, updates, and strategic reviews with clients.- Feedback Integration: Collecting and integrating client feedback into project processes to align outcomes more closely with client expectations. This is completed though our use of ClickUp.
- Team Leadership and Coordination- Team Management: Leading and motivating the project team, managing team dynamics, and ensuring that the team works cohesively. Effective delegation and conflict resolution are key.- Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinating between different departments (e.g., creative, digital, media) to ensure that all aspects of the client's requirements are addressed.
- Quality and Performance Monitoring- Quality Control: Overseeing the quality of work produced to ensure that deliverables meet the agencyβs standards and client expectations.- Performance Monitoring: Tracking the progress of projects, analyzing the effectiveness of strategies, and implementing improvements as necessary.
- Risk Management- Problem Solving: Identifying potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle and developing mitigation strategies to prevent them from impacting project success.
- Strategic Input- Strategy Development: Providing strategic insights and recommendations based on industry trends, competitive analysis, and performance data to help clients achieve their marketing objectives.
