Summary
Our client is currently looking for a Plant Manager to oversee our facility located in Richland, WA. A successful Plant Manager provides leadership and strategic direction for the organization to achieve business objectives related to operations, procurement, engineering and quality, customer delivery, and the long-term strategies and growth opportunities of our client. We seek people with positive attitudes who possess a strong ability to problem solve. We expect a person with strong leadership capabilities who is able to demonstrate support for the success of others while achieving departmental, site, and Corporate goals.
Essential Functions
Manage planning and execution to meet customer commitments and requirements.Drive continuous improvement efforts throughout the operations by the application of lean principles to improve safety, people, quality, delivery, and cost.Develop, align, and maintain communications throughout the ATI organization to achieve the business objectives.Results driven with the ability to work in a high-performance manufacturing environment.Build a climate that empowers and motivates leadership and teamwork at all levels for employees to perform at their highest levels.Strong Leadership capabilities and the ability to demonstrate mentorship, training, and support for the success of employees while achieving departmental, site, and corporate goals.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in a technical related field or business or equivalent experienceMinimum 10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations.Minimum of 5 years of continuous improvement or lean manufacturingExcellent oral and written communication skills.Exceptional interpersonal skills.Strong analytical skills to analyze and resolve difficult problems effectively and implement long term solutions.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
