As a Vendor Sourcing Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our operations, responsible for identifying, contacting, and bringing on board independent service providers (ISPs) nationwide to enhance our existing network. You will collaborate closely with our Field and Account Management teams, leveraging your expertise to source ISPs tailored to specific client needs, geographical requirements, or trade expertise.

Your work will directly impact our ability to meet and exceed client expectations, driving the success of our operations.

In this role, you will not only build relationships with ISPs but also work closely with our Vendor Relations team to ensure compliance and performance standards are met. Your keen attention to detail, coupled with strong communication skills, will be essential in maintaining our high standards.

Vendor Sourcing Specialist Responsibilities:Utilize various resources including internet, telephone, directories, and databases to identify and contact new Independent Service Providers (ISPs)Maintain a deep understanding of industry terminology and practices, ensuring effective communication and collaborationValidate and qualify ISPs for specific projects or requirements based on set criteriaCultivate and nurture relationships with ISP procurement resources, fostering a reliable networkPrepare and maintain reports to track ISP locating and onboarding processes, ensuring transparency and efficiencyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain a trusted database of vendorsExplore and implement new procurement resources and technologies to enhance our sourcing capabilitiesAct as the central point of contact for all vendor onboarding issues, providing timely support and guidanceCommunicate with prospective ISPs throughout the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless experienceWork with Vendor Relations teammates to manage onboarding process and new ISP communicationsPivot quickly and efficiently between various tasks and projects daily, anticipating potential needs before they occur

Vendor Sourcing Specialist Requirements:Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in customer service2-3 years of relevant sourcing experience preferredStrong understanding of vendor sourcing processes preferredBilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plusProficiency in MS Office and CRM systems, with a knack for multitasking in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication, time management, and customer service skillsStrong attention to detail and data entry skills
