Commercial Property Manager - Office and RetailWilmington, DelawareOur client, a Delaware focused firm that develops, owns and operates a portfolio of modernized, amenitized, and well-located office, retail, and multifamily assets, is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join their team. The Property Manager is responsible for the operational and financial goals for an assigned portfolio in Delaware, Pennsylvania and Maryland. This includes initiating and supervising the daily management, maintenance, and associated construction of multiple properties equaling approximately 1.0 - 1.5 million sf. The position requires experience in the commercial, retail and office property management and construction management process, a strong working knowledge of all facets of facility management including vacancy management, roofing systems, HVAC, parking lot maintenance, electrical, plumbing sewer and fire protection. Performing property physical inspections to ensure property management policies and procedures are being performed and conditions meet company expectations is paramount to this role.
RequirementsMust be an accomplished Property Manager with proven successful management of commercial, retail, and office assets.6 + years of experience in Commercial Property/Asset Management· Strong negotiating skills, verbal & written communication skills, accuracy and accountability, financial analysis, judgment, and confidentiality.Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Accounting, Business, Commercial Real EstateAbility to initiate bid requests, vendor and contractor managementStrong project management background to work closely with and give direction to contractors and vendorsCSM or CPM preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel & Outlook.Professional demeanor, with a passion for the industry
