📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
A well-regarded, Bethesda-based investment firm is working with The Ford Agency to find an experienced Events Coordinator to support their marketing team for a six-month temporary assignment. The Coordinator will assist with all planning and organizing of internal and external events, including operational, implementation, and post-event activities.
Responsibilities Include:Work with marketing team to plan and implement all facets of in-person and virtual events and meetings Identify and manage contracts with venues, catering, and technology partners for events Manage event budgets, evaluating prior expenses, cost analysis, and vetting proposalsManage communications with event/sponsorship contacts and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors Liaise with marketing and distribution teams to manage marketing collateral processing and timelines Assist with other duties as required
Qualifications Include: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or similar1 - 2 years' experience in an events coordinator or similar position Proficiency in MS Office and CRM Database software a plus Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail Exceptional time management and organization skills
