📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our client is a B2B Tax & Accounting Firm located in NYC. This is an onsite role.
ROLE:The Senior Tax Accountant is responsible for preparing and filing tax returns as well as utilizing tax strategies and tax planning for their clients. You will be connecting with business owners across the country.
Responsibilities:· Assisting in the review of returns prepared by junior accountants· Prepare corporate, partnership, and personal tax returns· Prepare tax plans for new & existing clients utilizing customized tax strategies· Helping clients maximize tax savings by using tax strategies· Assist clients with the implementation of tax & wealth-building strategies· Preparation and filing of quarterly estimated tax payments· Review the FS and propose AJE necessary for tax
Experience:· MUST have at least 4+ years of tax preparation experience· CPA or EA preferred but NOT required, Experience is more important· Bachelors or Masters' Degree in Accounting or Tax· Lacerte· Ability to work independently with clients
