📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Description:Shift: Monday-Friday 1st shift. This is a temporary assignment that is slated for 1 year with possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.Position is responsible for conducting in-life and terminal phases of all non-clinical laboratory studies minimally including animal health evaluations, administration of test compound(s) to animals, weight measurements, collection of body fluid samples for clinical evaluation, observing animals for normal or changed physical condition, the performance of necropsies with gross pathologic observations and descriptions, recording and maintaining data, and preparing test compound formulations.Qualifications:High school diploma with veterinary technician experience or a fresh bachelor’s degree with animal handling experience. Must be okay with performing euthanasia and necroscopy. Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
