This role will specifically focus on ADA AdministrationReview ADA requests for accommodation, engage with employees in the interactive process and provide an organizational decision on the accommodation to the leave and disability vendor and employeeManage complex ADA requests Maintain compliance with federal, state and local laws related to job protection and accommodating employees with disabilitiesAdminister companyโ€™s accommodation policies in a consistent manner while reducing risk to the organizationStay abreast of legislation and national, state and local issues affecting access for employees with disabilities in addition to maintaining a working knowledge of key trends and employer best practicesHandles intake of accommodation requests, sends required notices, forms, and letters, and determines employee eligibilityCoordinates with Managers and HR Business Partners to evaluate the need for potential accommodationsConducts clear and thorough review of documentation and identifies any need for clarificationProcesses and issues determination of accommodation requestsDrafts correspondence and documents all stages of the accommodation request processProvides support for all employee ADA needs to include open communication with employees, supervisors, and human resources personnelAdvises managers and employees on the interaction of the various leave entitlements and the ADAInterprets, administers, and maintains compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, human resources policies and procedures, and collective bargaining unit agreementsCommunicates with human resources partners and other partners to ensure cooperative relationshipsAnalyzes and resolves problem situations and takes or recommends appropriate action in collaboration with supervisorPerforms related duties as required

Qualifications: Bachelorโ€™s Degree3-5+ years Reasonable Accommodations/ADA related experience (Preferred Prior HR Generalist experience in pharma industry, professional certification)Experience handling the interactive process for accommodation requests submitted pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)Experience managing the interaction of family medical leave entitlements in conjunction with the application of an employeeโ€™s rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
