Educational QualificationsA CDA orSome college credits in any field with a commitment to enroll in and complete 6 hours of online or in-person courses in Early Childhood Education within a Year of Employment at Goddard (We can pay for this!) or2 years of experience in a Licensed Early Childhood Center orA Bachelor's degree in an early childhood field.Lead Teacher ResponsibilitiesA Lead Teacher’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environmentSupport each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidancePlan and implement activities that develop children’s self-esteem, social skillsRespect cultural and ethnic diversityEstablish positive and effective family relationsMaintain a portfolio for each childUse assessment tools (e.g., Progress Reports, Children’s Progress)Attend faculty meetings, in-service days, conferences, and professional growth opportunitiesAbout Goddard SchoolsAs part of a larger franchise system, in operation for 35 years, we are the premiere spot for early childhood learning for children from six weeks to six years old.
