Our client is one of the fastest growing companies in the travel-tech industry with $500M+ in recent funding that is now looking to bring on a DIRECTOR of ACCOUNTING that will be instrumental in streamlining processes, mentoring a team of finance professionals and implementing best practices!** HYBRID SCHEDULE | STRONG $$ PACKAGE | GREAT CULTURE **Responsibilities:Play an integral role in the day-to-day operations of the Finance function, including accounting, A/R, A/P, cash management, expense management, payroll, and internal controls and record keepingOversee all aspects of the monthly close, working closely with other members of the finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting that will help efficient decision-making at the management and operational levelManage revenue recognition in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant accounting standards (e.g. ASC 606)Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing financial reports, assisting with the profit and loss statements and other revenue recognition related statements.Oversees the preparation of all daily, weekly, monthly and annual dashboard reports outlining both revenues and expenses for various management levels.You will drive for process improvement and data enablement to support the team to complete close, reconciliation and financial reporting in a timely and accurate mannerQualifications:Bachelors degree in Accounting7+ years of public accounting/audit experienceCPA or progress towards = big plus
