📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities

Position Overview: The Director of Total Rewards plays a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience and driving organizational performance through effective compensation, benefits, and rewards strategies. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for driving employee engagement and organizational success. Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following: Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive total rewards strategy aligned with the organization's goals, culture, and budgetary constraints.Analyze market trends, industry benchmarks, and best practices to ensure competitiveness and compliance with legal requirements. Compensation Management: Lead the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, including base pay, variable pay, and equity-based compensation.Conduct salary surveys and benchmarking to ensure competitive pay structures.Collaborate with leadership to establish pay philosophies and guidelines.Compensation committee strategy and deliverables in partnership with CHRO. Benefits Administration: Oversee the design and management of employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other perks.Evaluate benefit offerings to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and employee needs.Manage relationships with benefit vendors and brokers. Performance Management: Partner with HR and leadership to integrate total rewards with performance management processes.Develop and implement incentive programs linked to individual, team, and organizational performance. Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing compensation and benefits, including but not limited to FLSA, ACA, and ERISA.Stay abreast of legislative changes and industry trends affecting total rewards practices. Communication and Education: Communicate total rewards programs effectively to employees, managers, and executives.Provide education and guidance to employees on compensation, benefits, and reward programs. Analytics and Reporting: Develop metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of total rewards programs.Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership. Team Leadership and Development: Lead a team of compensation and benefits professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the total rewards function. Tojoinourband,you'llneedthefollowingexperience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience; Master's degree preferred.Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) designation is highly desirable.Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits, and total rewards management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits practices, including experience with job evaluation, salary surveys, incentive design, and benefits administration.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and problem-solve effectively.Demonstrated leadership ability with experience in team management and development.High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
