📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities

As the Accounting Manager for this Financial Technology group, the Accounting Manger will be responsible for leading the accounting groups to produce accurate and timely financials. This FinTech company is enjoying strong growth whilst also continuing to develop their reputation for a great place to work. ResponsibilitiesOversee and provide leadership, direction, and management to the accounting team.Manage the day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets.Oversee and manage the month-end process, financial reporting.Review monthly financials and verify accuracy of reporting.Contributes and works with management on the policies, procedures, and implementing controls within the finance department, and collaborate with cross functional teams. Maintain relationship with external auditors and ensure compliance of GAAP.Support strategic decision-making by leading budgeting and forecasting accounting processes. Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or related field required; CPA preferred. A minimum of 5+ years of accounting with at least 2 years in a supervisory rolePrior experience in FinTech industry or in a related industry is a plus. Prior experience within public accounting working for a large firm is a plus.
