📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Description:A property & casualty company is looking for a State Filings Analyst to be responsible for rate, rule and form filings with all relevant insurance departments and bureaus. More specifically, this professional will prepare and develop filings for forms, rates and rules with carious state insurance departments, handle responses to objections through communication with insurance departments, collaborate with various internal departments to create a final filing product and address compliance matters, and answer inquiries directed toward the department. This opportunity is a direct hire.
Requirements:5+ years of recent experience in state filings and/or regulatory compliance at an admitted property & casualty insurance carrierSERFF experienceCandidates must be proficient in Microsoft office products, specifically Excel & WordAbility to commute into an office 3 days a weekMust be local to Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; Parsippany, N.J.; New York, N.Y.; Boston, Ma.; Philadelphia, Pa.; or Hartford, Conn.
