📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Description:A P&C company is looking for a State Filings Manager to be responsible for the direct management and oversight of a team working on the day-to-date activities related to rate, rule, and form filings with all relevant state insurance departments and bureaus and subsequent implementation in our client’s proprietary systems. This professional will track industry changes and monitor regulatory issues for compliance. This opportunity is direct hire.
Requirements:5+ years of insurance experience and have had prior leadership experience5+ years of experience with a mix of personal and commercial insurance – including compliance and/or state filings experience from an admitted property & casualty insurance carrierMust be proficient in Microsoft Office products – specifically Excel and WordAttention to detail and accuracy is a mustMust be strong in math and have the flexibility to work on multiple projects with the ability to meet tight deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to commute into an office 3 days per weekMust be local to Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; Parsippany, N.J.; New York, N.Y.; Boston, Ma.; Philadelphia, Pa.; or Hartford, Conn.
