Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Accounting to oversee and manage our company's accounting functions. The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading a team of accounting professionals and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and a proven track record of driving financial success.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reportingOversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of financial statementsManage the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statementsMonitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to senior managementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulationsLead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support on complex accounting issuesReview and approve journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and other accounting transactionsCoordinate with external auditors during financial audits and ensure timely completion of audit requirementsStay up to date with accounting trends, changes in regulations, and industry best practices, and provide recommendations for improvementParticipate in strategic financial planning and budgeting processes

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferredProven experience as an Accounting Manager, Controller, or similar roleIn-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulationsStrong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing teamExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAdvanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Office SuiteExceptional attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesExperience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is preferred
