Lincoln Tech's Paramus, NJ campus is currently seeking a Director of Nursing who possesses an MSN degree, has experience in education and instruction, and is passionate about shaping the future of nursing education. Key Qualifications
MSN or higherCurrent Registered Nurse License from the state of NJ3+ years experience as full-time faculty in an accredited or approved nursing education program
Responsibilities
Focus on students' academic and professional success and work closely with students to provide support and guidanceEnsure the achievement of strong retention, student satisfaction, and professional licensure outcomesEnforce school and academic policies and proceduresSupervise nursing department staff and facultyResponsible for recruiting and hiring faculty and administering faculty orientation. Provide professional development, daily guidance, and evaluation of performanceManage the academic schedule Maintain appropriate records in compliance with Board of Nursing, accrediting body, and company policy and proceduresManage relationships with outside clinical facilitiesAssist in budget preparation by forecasting trends and requirementsOther duties as assigned3+ years related clinical nursing practice experiencePrevious supervisory/managerial experience preferred
