Summary
Per Sé Group is hiring an Instrument Planner for a long-term contract at our client’s petroleum refinery in the SW suburbs of Chicago, IL. As an Instrument Planner at this refinery, you will work within an environment committed to safety and environmental stewardship for an industry leader who continues to be recognized year after year for their commitment to best practices!
Responsibilities
Produce quality Electrical and Instrumentation work packs in support of the turnaround function, identifying the tasks and labor required to execute the work safely and efficiently, as well as all associated materials and equipmentDevelop and update turnaround job plans and preventive maintenance instructions (PMs), coordinating with procurement and ensuring the availability of required materials, tools and equipmentDuring turnaround events, support field personnel and turnaround management organization through field supervision, information sharing and logistics coordinationClose coordination with maintenance personnel, as well as with the Production, Technology Services, Supply Chain Management and EH&S departmentsManage I/E turnaround work orders, from the moment work is identified until it can be handed over to appropriate individuals, internal or external, for executionProvide project management of other system planners or contractors to develop detailed elements of overall package preparation
Preferred Skills & Expertise
3+ years of refinery planning experience as an Instrument Planner with turnaround & maintenance experiencePrevious field experience as an Instrumentation & Controls Technician in a refinery, including performing walkdownsSAP/Maximo Planning experienceMS Office experience, including development of spreadsheets to track and chart information pertaining to maintenanceExperience in creating and modifying P&I diagrams, loop sheets, single lines, logics and electrical schematicsExperience in developing scopes of work, task analysis, material list and project schedules with SAPExperience with alky units
