POSITION SUMMARY
Review, analyze, troubleshoot, and process incoming life insurance applications for accuracy and completeness.Follow up (via e-mail or telephone) with life insurance agents (or their staff) on missing requirements and/or to clarify information.Data Enter information into proprietary home office systems.Submit life applications or contracting paperwork to the appropriate life insurance carriers through a variety of delivery systems.Calculate points earned for recognition purposes. (for life insurance applications only)
Hourly Wage
Negotiable based on experience and language skills. Shift: Full-Time (40 Hours Per Week. 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. central time)
Prefer individuals who can work overtime, including Saturdays, with advance notice.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: (Includes but not limited to)
1- 2 years experience in a processing role, with daily production goals & quality metrics to meetAbility to grasp concepts quicklyOrganized, self-starter, motivated high performerDependable and reliableCoachablePositive, can-do attitudeComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentHighly accountable; takes ownership and drives sense of urgencyVery detail-oriented, accurate, high quality and quantity of work outputGood problem-solving and analytical skillsFamiliarity with basic mathExcellent interpersonal skills; able to build strong relationships in the home office, and with independent insurance sales agents and their staffGood customer service skillsAbility to work with different personality types and styles, in person or by phoneExcellent written & oral communication skills (in person, e-mail and telephone)Proficient Computer Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word.) Type a minimum of 50 words per minute.Experience with a workflow system a plusExperience in the insurance industry a plus Bilingual in English/Spanish is required for this role
