📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Located in Hermiston, OR!
Pay: $17.50 an hour
Schedule: Day shift, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Description: Preforms a variety of duties which enable the Nutrition services staff to prepare and deliver the appropriate, high quality food and service to patients and other customers, while accounting for allergies, intolerances and personal preferences. Will perform otherduties such as clerical, collecting money, prep and set up, etc. that help with operation efficiency. Will have to accept responsibility for the set up of the cafeteria and the patients meal trays in accordance with the safe and sanitary standards of the company.
Must be able to: Communicate effectivelyKeep composure during change in tasksUse general kitchen equipment not limited to: dish machine, coffee maker, food chopper, microwave, meat slicer, steamer, oven, grill, can openerUse other equipment as needed such as cash registers, computers, printers Background in socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic background guest relations preferred but not required. A thorough knowledge of healthy diet preferred but not required.
