SummaryPer Sé Group is working with an ENR Top 400 general contractor looking to hire a Construction Project Manager for a large industrial construction project in the Chicago metropolitan area. The ideal candidate has experience working on automotive, advanced manufacturing, data center, mission-critical, life science, or similar projects.
Responsibilities Lead all projects construction projects in the industrial manufacturing sectorCompile and plan budgets, cost estimates, and other financial estimatesOrder and manage materials and equipmentProvide internal reporting and projections for inventoryOversee and supervise construction project progress and provide reports on timeline, progress, and adjustmentsEnsure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are metEnsure that projects are completed on time and within budget
Preferred Skills and Expertise 5+ years experience as a Project Manager on large Industrial projects8+ years of total construction experienceStrong understanding of civil/site, architectural/finish, and all MEPCapEx experience a bonusThorough knowledge of all aspects of construction, negotiations, engineering, cost control, schedules, and safety requiredExcellent communication, organization, interpersonal, and supervisory skillsBS in Construction Management or similar preferred
