Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings .
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing Take dental x-rays Conduct patient assessments, including oral health screenings and medical history reviews Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, including proper brushing and flossing techniques. Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation Follow strict aseptic techniques to ensure infection control. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow
Skills
Proficient in dental assisting techniques Knowledge of Dentrix a plus. Strong understanding of anatomy and oral health principles Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work well in a team environment Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
