Responsibilities
Registered Nurse (RN) job responsibilities include:
Oversee all aspects of patient care from assessment to implementationWork closely with clinical team members to ensure patient is comfortable and secureTranscribe all doctor's orders, and help with patient examsDispense medicine; observe/document patient reaction to medications; start IVs and administer necessary treatmentsCommunicate with the patient and family members, sharing information and necessary documentationGather lab specimens for testing using proper proceduresFollow all OSHA rules and regulationsKeep all licensing/certifications up-to-date; take part in continuing education
Required Skills
Registered Nurse (RN) required skills & qualifications include:
Must have a nursing degree from an accredited institutionState RN licensure with no restrictionsPrevious experience in a patient care setting - Experience in an Urgent Care or ER/ICU environment is requiredCertified in the following: CPR, PALS/ENCP and ACLSAble to skillfully and competently treat patients in accordance with policies and proceduresAble to skillfully, competently and promptly respond to emergenciesAble to provide excellent patient care in accordance with policies and procedures
