Pay: $22.34/hr.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 11:30am - 10:00pm.
Responsibilities
Learn to operate control center to cut logs to optimum lengths and remove all barkMaximize the value of each logSafely and effectively operate machine centersMonitor flow of material to and from the machine centers and make adjustments as necessary to ensure production and quantity standards are metConduct visual equipment inspections and support maintenance in troubleshooting/repairs when applicableControl two log decks, log dump and log loaderOperate the cut-off saw to cut logs to required lengthsOperate conveyors to send logs through the debarkerOperate a chain saw to cut crooked logs or limbs from logsUse bars and peavey to move and straighten logsCoordinate via radio with Log Yard Loader OperatorOperate the defect cut-off sawMaintain a clean work area clear of debris
