City Experiences is seeking a Server for our City Cruises operation in Baltimore, MD for April 2024
Looking for candidates available Thurs - Sunday (Weekend availability is a MUST) seeking part-time hours.

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System.
About The Opportunity
The successful Server will be part of the Spirit of Washington crew and will be competent in serving food and beverages, is hospitable and cordial to guests and coworkers, acts safely and responsibly, and is knowledgeable about the vessel and the skyline.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide exceptional hospitality to guests and coworkers as prescribed in our RESPECT service system Greet guests and serve food and beverages in a timely fashionAccurately take orders and enter them into the point of sale systemMaintain the cleanliness and safety of all common areas and service stationsParticipate in the celebration and entertainment experience of the guestSet up and break down dining room and service stations as prescribed; this requires movement of dining cabin furnitureAccurately collect payment from guests for on-board purchasesProvide information to guests including menu descriptions, order of service, entertainment options, cruise route and points of interestBe prepared to begin work at scheduled timeMaintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standardsAssist with the warm and efficient greeting and seating of guests when they arriveAdditional job duties as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent requiredOne (1) year experience in high volume restaurant preferredEnergetic and enthusiastic personality essentialMust be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to guests and coworkersMust possess a service orientation - actively looking for ways to help othersBasic computer skills are requiredWill work for extended periods without sittingRequired to lift furniture and other heavy items such as dishes up and down stairsWill be required to be available for work on all major holidaysMust meet minimum state age requirements
