EIT (Electronic Instrumentation & Technology) is looking for an SMT Technician (experience with Siplace equipment a plus) to join our team in our Danville, VA plant! We will train and develop an experienced technician who has a desire to learn ASMPT Siplace technology.
Job Description
The position of SMT Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of ASMPT Siplace equipment.
Become proficient in systems technologies over timePerform complex maintenance repairs and overhaulsPerform complete documentation of all installations, inspections, maintenance, and repair work, and failuresProvide support and work with networks, IT infrastructure, SQL databases and servers, etc. This may include limited domestic and international travel
Qualifications and Experience: Two-year Associate Degree or Technical Certification with extensive experience preferred
A minimum of 5 years of experience within the electronics industry requiredExperience with SIPLACE & DEK equipment and SIPLACE & DEK software preferredMust be fluent in English (written and spoken) Working Conditions:Warehouse environment.Benefits 401k with match9/80 work schedule: Every other Friday offExcellent Health Benefits, including dental and visionPaid HolidaysPTOTuition ReimbursementTraining provided for an experienced SMT TechnicianRELOCATION PACKAGE AVAILABLE!
