📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Remanufacturing Service TechnicianHourly wage $17.00 - $18.00Looking for Remanufacturing Service Technicians that will disassemble, assemble, clean, requalify, and rework operations on locomotive traction motor combo components utilizing manual and automated equipment in accordance with safe manufacturing and quality procedures. In this role you will inspect, repair, and test completed locomotive traction motor combo components.1st Shift 5:30am to 2:00pm Monday to Friday OR 2nd Shift 2:30pm to 11:00pm Monday to Friday - must be flexibleMechanics Technician
Essential Responsibilities:Support and perform work in compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, policies, and regulationsDisassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairsReassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairsSign off on process documentation for each of the work steps performedProcess components in compliance with internal processing requirementsMaintain acceptable defect ratesOperate both fork trucks and overhead cranes per OSHA guidelinesWork and cooperate well on a team to meet objectivesRepair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipmentReassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairsProcess components in compliance with internal processing requirementsWork to improve 5S within work cell using continuous improvement and kaizen toolsPerform any additional duties as assigned by the Flow Leader, Team Lead, or any member of the management teamMechanic TechniciansQualifications/Requirements:High School Diploma / GEDA minimum of 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing or mechanical environmentKnowledge of EHS procedures and policiesAbility to regularly lift and handle tools and materials up to 50 poundsAbility to use manual equipment and hand tools safelyWorking knowledge of inspection measurement equipmentUnderstanding of manufacturing and quality procedures in a lean manufacturing environmentGood oral and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively on a teamcustomer service skillsPrior fork truck and overhead crane experience & Experience with analytical testing a plus but not requiredJob Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayOvertimePandoLogic.
