Job SummaryWe are seeking skilled welders to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures through the use of welding techniques. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints.
Hours
This job requires a flexible schedule as you will be working around business hours. Weekends are required. 40+ hours a week.
Responsibilities:- Perform welding tasks using stick welding- Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to specifications- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings- Use measuring tools, such as calipers, to ensure precise dimensions- Operate equipment such as plasma cutters and grinders- Inspect welds for quality and make necessary repairs or adjustments- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
Skills:- Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques- Familiarity with using calipers for precise measurements- Experience working with ductwork is a plus- Proficiency in plasma cutting techniques- Strong attention to detail and quality control- Ability to work independently or as part of a team- Excellent problem-solving skills
